One of my New Year's Resolutions is to run at least 6 5K runs this year. I have been attending Cross Country meets for Caleb and Jacob and they have inspired me. Caleb said he would run with me (sort of). He runs the race and then doubles back to make sure I finish and "cheer me on". 1 down five to go. This first one was called, and appropriately so, Bold in the Cold. Wouldn't you know that after 2 beautiful 75-80 degree days a cold front blows in and drops down to 35 (with a windchill of about 20) EEEEEEEEEEEk! Next I am off to the Fort Worth Cowtown in February...anyone want to join me?!

Aye-yie-yie. What is with you Fossums and your running fetish??? Now I'll have to run the half marathon. The PRESSURE!!
Love y'all- ingrid
Hey Julie -
Got your Christmas letter today - I had to laugh because I finally threw ours away - too busy/lazy to get them out in time! I should have done the delayed thing like you!!! Oh well - I will get to next year!
I am running at the Cowtown in Ft Worth too!!! For some very crazy reason I thought I would do the 1/2 Marathon - I am sure I will die - so keep an eye out for a crazy lady dead on the side of the trail! I think getting closer to 40 has made me want to start taking better care of my body! Anyway - loved the letter and the info! Your kids are giants! Mine are not - still very small!!!!!
I will look for you next weekend!!!!
